2023-2024 AAU Beach Volleyball Age Divisions
The age determination date for AAU Volleyball is August 1.
| Below are the 2023-2024 Age Requirements For Each Age Division (Effective Sept 1, 2023 - August 31, 2024). | |

Players who were born on or after August 1, 2009 OR Players who were born on or after August 1, 2008 (15 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the eighth grade (8th) during the current academic year. |
15 & Under |
Born on or after August 1, 2008 |
16 & Under |
Born on or after August 1, 2007 |
18 & Under |
Players who were born on or after August 1, 2005 (including high school graduates

Once a player participates in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college or junior college, they are ineligible to play in the West Coast Sports Festival, and/or qualifying events to the West Coast Sports Festival.
Age waivers are NOT allowed at the National Championships or Super Regionals with the exception below.
Local District Directors can modify age divisions or grant waivers for local tournaments. Please contact your Local District Directors for information.
